My Knight Industries 2000 or K.I.T.T. for easy reference ;) is coming along nicely. I was able to get a lot more done over the winter months than I thought. But now that the summer months are here I am able to get a lot more done. I realized that I have not uploaded anywhere near as many images to my DA account as I should, I've mostly been keeping people updated and informed of my progress through my Face Book page, and my Blog:
www.myknightrider2000.blogspot…
I have even started uploading more to my Flickr account:
www.flickr.com/photos/zentaigu…
I'm getting so much done, the front end is almost complete, the rear twilight blackouts are done and I realized that I have not uploaded any shots of that to my DA account.... I'll have to get to that just for the lazy folks who don't follow links. lol in any event people who are REALLY interested and are Knight Rider fans will be able to keep up to date best on the accounts I have mention above, even my YouTube account gets a lot, a LOT of videos on K.I.T.T.s progress:
www.youtube.com/user/sicklilmo…

All that being said I'll have to try and see if I can find some time to upload more photos to my DA account.... but hey my fellow artist will understand what time is like when you are creatively busy ;)

My Interactive Monitors for my K.I.T.T. Project by sicklilmonky My K.I.T.T. Trajectory Guide Screen by sicklilmonky
I discovered recently that by using Unity 3D I can send information from a Unity made project to an Arduino micro controller to activate relays effective being able to control devices in the car by buttons on my touch screen monitors. So I started making my own interactive monitors for my K.I.T.T. in Unity 3D How freaking cool is that? :)

Dash In For A powered Up Test Fitting by sicklilmonky
Yesterday I finally got to getting the dash into my Trans Am for a powered up test fitting. Pretty happy with the result. I do have some minor tweaks and adjustments to do to get the dash to fit perfectly but I'm getting there!

And now a special presentation on MDK Graphics Puppet Theatre :)

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 22, 2016:
K.I.T.T. is getting smarter and smarter. It's funny you know when I first started this project to build my dream car; a replica of the "Knight Industries 2000" from the hit 1980's TV series "Knight Rider" and I began work on the dash software, I REALLY did not expect much from that end of it. I figured:
"Sure, I'll have some nice graphics, some animations, some cool sound effects.... something original but still keeping somewhat true to the design flavour of the TV show""
I NEVER even remotely imagined that the software part of the project would go as far as it has. Not being a code guy..... we actually I can't even really say that any more.... I have learned so much and have written so much code that at this stage I would say I'm more a "Code Novice.".... but anyways, I am truly blown away by how over 2 short years that this dash software has grown, how much it is capable of that has far, FAR exceeded anything I could have ever imagined that I would have been capable of accomplishing. I've had a lot of help along the way mind you, but there is vast amounts of the project I have figured out all on my own.
Currently K.I.T.T. is talking. He can trigger devices in the car through either the "KNIGHT O.S." interface or through speech commands, He knows what time of day it is so if you say to him;
"Hey KITT, is it breakfast time?"
And it's NOT, he'll respond with a few random replies that are suitable like:
"Are you Kidding me Michael?" Or "You must be joking".... etcetera.
Same thing for if you ask him if it is either Hot, cold, warm... is it lunch time, supper time... or even.
"Hey KITT, how was your day"
Unless it's past 5pm, day aint over yet so he'll just think you are kidding. But if the day is over he'll respond differently.
KITT know if it is Me he is talking to or if it is the public, especially in Surveillance Mode.
Heck I even have him able to play "Guess My Number" with me.... he will select a random number from 1 - 10 and you have to guess what it is, he will tell you if you are right or wrong and if you have guessed too low or too high.
KITT can also be in either a good mood or a bad mood based on what is said to him, if he is in a bad mood he responds to certain questions or commands quite differently.... so it's good to talk nice to KITT and keep him in a good mood otherwise you have some sucking up to do in order to get back into his good graces as it were ;)
Over the course of the winter I can scarcely imagine how much further we can push the KNIGHT O.S. software.
I post regularly to my www.youtube.com/knightriderguy So hopefully you'l pop by watch and subscribe for all the super cool updates on this project. ;)

First off I have to apologize a little for not being on in so long, but sooooo much has happened to me over this last year both bad and good... I was bouncing around a lot for a while being very unsettled, bad room mate situations and just life's little cruel jokes...

But as I say soooo much has happened this last year.

* I finally met and fell in love with my sweetheart, her name is Donna and she is the most amazing spirit to have ever entered into and become a part of my life. We celebrated our 5th month anniversary together last night at the Captain's Table with a nice fish and chip dinner.

* On October first of this year we bought a nice 100+ year old house in St. James together, our house has a new garage that was built 2 years ago. Since moving in we have decorated, finished the upstairs loft, bought new furnishings for our home and sooooo, sooooo much more!!

* I FINALLY got my dream car a 1982 black Pontiac Trans Am in minty condition, it was never driven in winter, never left outside, undercoated at least 3 or 4 times, one family owned and EXTREMELY well looked after... I could not have asked for a better car to make into a Knight Rider or K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries 2000) I have started a progress blog for my Knight Rider conversion project at:

As I say I've been super busy lately and have not been posting to DA in a while... I will try to upload some more pictures soon and I hope you will forgive me if I do not respond to messages on DA it's just I've as I say been so busy lately with so many other AMAZING projects that I do want to share here but all in good time ;)

Yeah I'm posting a day late but I just wanted to take a quick moment and mention that I hope everyone had a safe and happy Canada Day yesterday? :flagcanda:

I got out and about the city on my bike in my bright red Zentai Suit. Had my picture taken a few times lots of cool comments. I wanted to wear my "Canadian's Kick Ass" t shirt
Canadians kick ass by sicklilmonky
But it was a little too hot out to wear a t shirt over the suit. I was nice and cool in the suit all day so that was great. I checked out Osborne Villiage's Canada Day street fest but I was there before noon and I think a lot of it was still being set up but there were lots of people and they had the mini dognuts van set up Mmmmm Mini dognuts :P

I checked out the Legislature grounds and they were setting up the Cannons to salute Canada Day. Lots of people at the Legislature grounds getting ready for that event. I headed back down the the Forks Market area to have lunch and watch the boats on the river and then later on headed over to Whittier Park close to Fort Gibralter. On the way past the Fork I could see the people inside in period costume doing a salute with the old musket riffles, very cool.
Happy Canada Day by sicklilmonky
I took a little snooze under the shade of a huge Oak Tree for a little while before calling it a day and heading home viat the Waterfront trail.
