MEC's Bikefest at the Winnipeg Forks 07

Had an awesome day at Saturdays MEC (Mountain Equipment Co Op)'s Bikefest at the Forks Market center events tent. lots of educational bike venues were set up, lots of free "Shwag" and information about bike riding, shops and bike repair, even cycling paths around winnipeg. I got and updated map of the Bike paths and my room mate got some hands on guided experience in fixing his brocken gear shifter cable. A tricky but nowhere near as difficult a task as I had heared some people mention to me in the past. It took a little time and we kinda missed a step as you'll see in the video but we got it together and working like new again with the very knowedgeble help of the fine folks at W.R.E.N.C.H. (Winnipeg Repair Education and Cycling Hub).
