Kitchen Toy Robot Helpersby *sicklilmonky

Colorful plastic toy robots on parade on the kitchen counter top. I was in the mood to make a simple plastic wind up robot, I started this guy on friday and finished him up on Saturday. When I was researching reference images I found some great shots of this guy on eBay. I have no idea what his name is though??? At first I thought he was broken and missing parts just because his hands kind of looked unfinished like they should have chrome pincers at the ends or something, but nope, that's just the way he's made, in fact he has three other brothers that complete the series but the blue one was the only one I found multiple pictures of him from different andgles so I made him. If I can find good reference images of his three brothers I'll make them in time

I threw my 3D kettle in the background and some copies of the blue robot with different colored plastic and experimented with deapth of field a little

3D modeling, I used many reference pictures to try and make as accurate as I could

Why thank you very much, I would love to have a big robot collection again someday, but for now I'll just have to settle for a digital one... takes up less space
