Aircraft01 Lomo

Really cool aircraft parked out by the Airport close to Airforce Way. I took these while out for my bike ride today. I've seen them out there many times before and have always meant to take pictures of them so today I walked my bike over to the fence and took a few shots through the chin link fence. Ran them through Lightroom to give them a nice Lomograph effect. I don't know what they are called but I love the bright colours of them and how posh they look, very well maintained aircraft

Cool, my brother John informed me that they are CL-215 water bombers with round piston engines, they have been replaced with the newer version which has a turbine engine and is caled the CL-415. Both made in Canada, down east.
